How to Plan the Perfect European Summer Vacation

So be prepared to do a significant amount of those activities. Make sure to pack a pair of comfortable walking shoes. So if you're not ready to get a major cardio workout hauling your stuff around Europe, then pack lightly. 

Be prepared for the lodging to lack some luxuries that you might be accustomed to. Make sure to bring a washcloth with you. Many accommodations in Europe don't contain them, which could create an awkward and uncomfortable situation for you. If you store a washcloth, keep is safe and secure in a reclosable freezer bag. Also, pillows can range from rock-hard to fluffy. So you can either request for a more comfortable pillow, or bring your own.
