Best nightlife in Europe

Europe: A Small Continent with a Huge Nightlife

Europe is more than just one of the world's seven continents. Yes, it's the second smallest continent on Earth, and only contains about 11% of the world's total population.  Still, Europe's significance in the world is noteworthy. Ancient Greece was Western culture's birthplace, while Europe has remained a key player in global matters, since the 1500s. Most recently, the rise of the European Union has made the economics of the continent more intertwined.

While there are tons of places to visit and things to see in Europe, your trip there won't be complete without enjoying the nightlife of the different countries. When taking in the nightlife of Europe's major cities, you should definitely keep certain matters in mind. One of the most practical ones is when the nightlife begins! In countries such as Spain and Portugal, it's common for dance clubs to come alive at 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning, and for patrons to dance the night away-quite literally until sunrise. So when in countries where the nightlife technically starts during the next day, make sure to take a catnap before painting the town red!

The nightlife in Berlin is arguably one of the best throughout the entire continent. That's due to the quality and variety of the locations available to locals and tourists alike. Whether you want to grab a beer, catch a movie, or dance the night away, you can do it all when enjoying Berlin's nightlife.

Spain is another hot spot for enjoying Europe's nightlife. That includes major cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, and Valencia. Without a doubt, dance clubs are definitely the forte in Spain, where you can enjoy musical genres ranging from ballroom, to house. Since the nightlife in Spain typically starts late in the evening, it's fortunate that siestas are part of people's everyday lives in Spain.

No discussion of Europe's nightlife would be complete, without mentioning Paris. While it's generally more serene than the nightlife in cities such as Madrid, Paris offers a wide array of opportunities after the sun sets. From bars to dance clubs, and from theaters to restaurants, you can basically find it all when enjoying the city of love's nightlife.

Finally, while Amsterdam has scaled back its seven-days-a-week party scene since the Euro's unveiling in 2002, it's still one of the top nightlife cities throughout Europe. To add to the experience, Amsterdam attracts a cornucopia of people around the world, with different backgrounds. Whether you want a quiet night on the town or the thrill of dance clubs, you can enjoy both extremes while in Amsterdam. Basically, the city can provide something for everyone.

When traveling throughout Europe, make sure to book a holiday apartment online. This is definitely one of the most comfy and convenient ways to travel around the continent.
