 The best places to carry out your buying sprees are located in the Ramblas specifically its upper part as well as the areas around the Placa fr Catalunya, then on to the Passeig de Gracia and the streets of c/Muntaner, c/de Balmes, Via Augusta and Avenida Diagonal.  In fact, the Avenida Diagonal is one place where your bank account can really take a dent - such is the variety of fine shopping selections.

 As previously mentioned, Barcelona seems to have it all.  To be more specific, its antiques are topnotch especially in the area of Carrer dels Banys Nous in Barri Gotic as well as the Carrer de la Palla.
